Every nautical season has its rendezvous: in Cannes, September is when everything starts. From 8 to 13 September 2026, the 49th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival will bring together 700 boats and over 680 exhibitors between the Vieux Port and Port Canto. For six days, the show becomes the world's first glance at the upcoming yachting season.

The key figures of the 2026 edition

Six days, two ports, more than 700 vessels afloat from 5 to 50 metres, nearly 150 world premieres: the Cannes Yachting Festival remains the largest in-water boat show in Europe. On show: motor yachts, sailing yachts, multihulls, RIBs and dayboats, new and pre-owned, surrounded by an ecosystem of equipment makers, service providers and marinas.

Vieux Port: motor yachts and superyachts

At the Vieux Port, the show gathers large motor units from 12 to 50 metres. Superyachts, flybridges, open motoryachts, trawlers and RIBs are presented afloat, in an alignment that turns the bay into a floating showcase. La Pantiero hosts the Power Cat Village, dedicated to motor catamarans, while a new Jetée brings together yachts afloat and engine makers ashore, an expanded format for 2026 that places shipyards, engine specialists and next-generation propulsion suppliers side by side for the first time.

Port Canto: sail, dayboats, brokerage

A ten-minute boat ride away, Port Canto offers a 2.5-km loop around several universes. The Sailing Area showcases what the organisers describe as the world's largest fleet of 10m+ sailing yachts afloat, 120 new units this year. The Power Boat Marina, dedicated to motor boats up to 12-13 metres, displays 180 dayboats. The Yacht Brokerage section brings together more than 45 units of 25 metres or more, complemented by a Toys area for tenders, jet-skis and eFoils. Maritime shuttles connect the two ports every 15 minutes throughout the show.

Innovation, energy transition, new boaters

The Cannes Yachting Festival no longer settles for exhibiting: it also maps the shifts shaping the industry. The Innovation Route, a dedicated path through the show, highlights the most committed solutions, electric or hybrid propulsion, low-carbon equipment, sustainable materials, CSR initiatives. The second edition of the Innovation Route Awards distinguishes the best equipment and innovative boats, as well as the most remarkable CSR initiatives, judged by an international jury of professionals and journalists.

Best of Boat Awards: Cannes hosts the finalists

New in 2026: Cannes welcomes for the first time the announcement of the finalists for the Best of Boat Awards, a European prize dedicated to motor boats whose jury brings together representatives from 15 countries. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 9 September from 6 pm at the Port Canto VIP Club. Another milestone for Cannes, which becomes an awards venue beyond its role as a show.

Programme and opening hours

The show runs from Tuesday 8 to Sunday 13 September 2026. Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm; Friday from 10 am to 10 pm for the late-night event; Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. The Vieux Port and Port Canto are accessible separately or in a loop via the maritime shuttles included in the entry ticket.

Cannes, capital of yachting for six days

For enthusiasts as well as professionals, the Cannes Yachting Festival is an unmissable stop. For the industry, it is also when part of the next season's sales are decided: international buyers come on board, compare, negotiate, sometimes sign. For the charter business, it is the prime opportunity to discover in person the new units that will join rental fleets the following year.
